For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (0.87 oz) dry chicken gravy mix
- 1 packet (0.87 oz) dry onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together gravy mix, onion soup mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Shred or slice the chicken and serve with the gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
