Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole

An easy and delicious casserole with meatballs, pasta, and cheese that requires minimal prep.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb frozen meatballs
  • 12 oz uncooked penne pasta
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir well.
  3. Add frozen meatballs and stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
