A deconstructed version of the classic egg roll, packed with flavor and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in shredded cabbage and carrot. Cook for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha (if using). Stir well to combine.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
