For the Crust:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through (about 5-6 minutes). Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Reduce heat to low, pour in heavy cream, and stir in parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
