For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Add milk and egg to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
