For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni slices.
  5. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
