Deliciously spiced pumpkin twists with a soft, tender texture and a sweet glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and salt. Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Roll dough into ropes, twist into desired shapes, and place on baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over cooled twists.
