Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and slice into strips.
  3. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and hot sauce (if using) to make the southwest sauce.
  4. Warm the tortillas slightly. Spread a spoonful of the southwest sauce on each tortilla.
  5. Layer lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, corn, red onion, chicken strips, and cheddar cheese on each tortilla.
  6. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly to form a wrap. Serve immediately.
