Easy Sweet & Spicy Meatballs

Juicy meatballs coated in a sweet and spicy glaze, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine ketchup, honey, sriracha, and soy sauce. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Toss the baked meatballs in the glaze until evenly coated. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
