  • Yield: 6-8 1x

Description

This fresh cranberry orange relish is a tangy, colorful accompaniment to your holiday turkey or ham. Made with simple ingredients, it’s quick to prepare and bursts with vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 large orange, peeled and sectioned
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries under cold water and pick out any soft or bruised ones.
  2. Cut the orange into small chunks, removing any seeds.
  3. In a food processor, pulse the cranberries and orange chunks until finely chopped, but not pureed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the sugar, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled.

Notes

For a smoother texture, blend in a food processor a bit longer. Adjust sugar to taste based on tartness of cranberries.
