- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 large orange, peeled and sectioned
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries under cold water and pick out any soft or bruised ones.
- Cut the orange into small chunks, removing any seeds.
- In a food processor, pulse the cranberries and orange chunks until finely chopped, but not pureed.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the sugar, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
Notes
For a smoother texture, blend in a food processor a bit longer. Adjust sugar to taste based on tartness of cranberries.
