Garlic Chicken Lasagna Twirls

Description

A delicious twist on classic lasagna with garlic-infused chicken rolled into twirls.


Ingredients

  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and lay flat.
  3. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, minced garlic, ricotta cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Spread the chicken mixture on each noodle and roll into twirls; place in the baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining marinara sauce and cheeses.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
