- 1 package (17.3 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 8 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, orange zest, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Let cool.
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2-inch squares. Place squares on the prepared baking sheet.
- Top each pastry square with a cube of Brie and a spoonful of cranberry mixture.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until pastry is golden and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These tartlets can be made ahead and reheated. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
