  • Author: Chef Sally
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

Elegant towers of caramelized pears layered with creamy burrata cheese, drizzled with golden balsamic reduction for a sophisticated appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add pear slices and brown sugar, cook until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a small saucepan, reduce balsamic vinegar with honey until syrupy.
  5. Slice burrata and assemble towers: pear slices, burrata, repeat.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic reduction and garnish with thyme.

Notes

Use firm pears for best caramelization. Ensure balsamic is reduced to avoid thin drizzle.
