Description

These gooey bars feature a delightful mix of caramel, chocolate, and a crunchy texture, perfect for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
  3. Stir in caramel sauce until smooth.
  4. Add chocolate chips and melt completely.
  5. Mix in rice krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  6. Press the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
