- 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
- 4 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the cut sides of the avocados with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the avocados cut-side down on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
- Remove avocados and let them cool slightly.
- On a platter, arrange sliced tomatoes, grilled avocados, and mozzarella slices.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
