Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring herb-infused Alfredo sauce with tender chicken.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken and let it rest, then slice into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, basil, and oregano until the sauce thickens.
  7. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions and drain.
  8. Toss the pasta with the sauce and add the chicken strips.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Ensure herbs are fresh for the best flavor.
