Description
Tender carrots glazed with honey for a sweet and flavorful side dish.
Ingredients

- 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Place carrots in a saucepan and cover with water.
- Add salt and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until carrots are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Drain water, then add butter, honey, and pepper.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until glazed, about 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
