Description

A juicy burger topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness, adding Swiss cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
  4. In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic; sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Toast buns lightly, assemble burgers with mushroom mixture on top.

Notes
