Classic Kaiser rolls with a crispy crust and soft interior, perfect for sandwiches or as a side.

For the Crust:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 egg white, beaten (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water and vegetable oil, then knead until a smooth dough forms (about 8-10 minutes).
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, shape into rolls, and place on a baking sheet.
- Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush rolls with beaten egg white.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crusty.
