Description

Fresh salmon rolls infused with lemon and basil for a light and flavorful dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large lettuce leaves for wrapping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Place basil leaves on top of each fillet.
  4. Roll each fillet tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear rolls for 2 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer to oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve wrapped in lettuce leaves.

Notes

For a healthier option, use wild-caught salmon and add more herbs for extra flavor.
