For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
