Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup kalamata olives, pitted
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in sliced bell pepper, halved cherry tomatoes, olives, and oregano.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat and serve.
Notes
For a healthier option, use lean ground beef. Pairs well with couscous or a fresh salad.
