Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 100g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 50g hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a large circle.
  3. Arrange the sliced pears, crumbled blue cheese, and chopped hazelnuts evenly over the pastry, leaving a border around the edge.
  4. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to form a wreath shape, pinching to seal.
  5. Brush the wreath with the beaten egg and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
