  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A delicious fusion of sloppy joes and pepperoni pizza, featuring savory ground beef, melted cheese, and tangy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet; cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the pizza sauce, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto hamburger buns and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Optional: Broil in the oven for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.

Notes

For a spicier version, use spicy pepperoni or add red pepper flakes. Serve with a side of fries for a complete meal.
