- 1 pound corned beef, sliced
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 6 slices rye bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the cubed rye bread at the bottom.
- Spread the sauerkraut evenly over the bread layer.
- Layer the corned beef slices on top of the sauerkraut.
- Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the corned beef.
- Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes. Serve with extra dressing on the side.
