  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A creamy Alfredo pasta dish featuring Cajun-seasoned salmon and shrimp, served on a plate for an elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon chunks and shrimp with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning.
  2. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Cook salmon until almost done, about 5 minutes, then add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta, seafood, and reserved water if needed. Toss to combine.
  7. Serve garnished with parsley.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning for spice level. Ensure seafood is not overcooked for best texture.
