- 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into chunks
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Season the salmon chunks and shrimp with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning.
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Cook salmon until almost done, about 5 minutes, then add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta, seafood, and reserved water if needed. Toss to combine.
- Serve garnished with parsley.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning for spice level. Ensure seafood is not overcooked for best texture.
