A hearty casserole that combines the flavors of pizza with sausage and pepperoni.
Ingredients

- 1 pound Italian sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 cups uncooked pasta
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic powder to the skillet; cook until vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and cooked pasta; mix well.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture, then half of the pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated; add 10 minutes to baking time if chilled.
