- 1 pound corned beef, thinly sliced
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 4 slices rye bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a greased baking dish, layer the corned beef slices evenly.
- Spread the sauerkraut over the corned beef layer.
- Sprinkle half of the Swiss cheese over the sauerkraut.
- Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over the cheese.
- Top with the cubed rye bread and drizzle with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes. Serve with a side of pickles for an authentic Reuben experience.
