- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- For the Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon slices
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- 1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and oregano, then place them in the slow cooker.
- 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, lemon juice, chicken broth, lemon zest, honey, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- 3. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring itβs evenly coated.
- 4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- 5. Once done, remove the chicken and shred or slice as desired. Optionally, thicken the sauce by simmering it in a pan for a few minutes.
- 6. Serve the chicken with the sauce, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust honey and red pepper flakes to taste.
