Description

This easy slow cooker turkey breast recipe is perfect for a hassle-free holiday meal, resulting in tender and juicy turkey with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 1 (6 pound) bone-in turkey breast
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Rinse the turkey breast and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub the turkey with vegetable oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the quartered onion at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Put the turkey breast on top of the onion and pour chicken broth around it.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F.

Notes

Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before carving for juicy results. Great for Thanksgiving or any family dinner.
