Ingredients

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Granulated sugar
  • Unsalted butter
  • Eggs
  • All-purpose flour
  • Vanilla extract
  • Sweetened coconut flakes
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Melt the butter; mix in eggs and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. While cooling, mix powdered sugar with coconut flakes in a shallow dish. Cut brownies into squares and roll in the coconut mixture before serving.
