Description

These soft and fluffy flatbreads are easy to make at home with simple ingredients, perfect for wraps, sandwiches, or as a side to your favorite meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
  5. Roll out each ball into a flat circle and cook on a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until puffed and golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs or garlic to the dough. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
