Description

A tangy and spicy sauce made with fresh cranberries, jalapeños, and a hint of ginger. Perfect for holidays or as a condiment.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, jalapeño, sugar, vinegar, ginger, and salt over medium heat.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until cranberries start to burst.
  3. 3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, until sauce thickens.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño amount for desired spice level. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
