For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your favorite toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead into a dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, sprinkle with oregano, then add cheese and toppings.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
