For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Spread 2/3 of the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Beat cream cheese, Nutella, and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the brownie batter, then swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly soft. Cool completely before slicing.
