A delicious twist on classic sloppy joes with the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak, featuring tender beef, melted cheese, and sautéed peppers and onions.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Spoon the beef mixture over the cheese, then top with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately.
