Description

A comforting casserole featuring hot dogs, tater tots, and melted cheese, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound hot dogs, sliced
  • 1 (32 ounce) package frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix the sliced hot dogs, chopped onion, condensed soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. 4. Arrange the tater tots on top of the mixture.
  5. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  6. 6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. 7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes. Serve with ketchup or mustard on the side.
