For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pot or deep skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, then stir in the dried oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and black pepper.
- Add the pasta to the pot, ensuring it is fully submerged in the liquid. Bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
