Description

A hearty one-pan meal featuring seasoned ground beef, crispy potatoes, and melted cheese for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook until golden and tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  2. Push potatoes to one side of the skillet. Add ground beef, onion, and bell pepper to the other side. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover the skillet and let the cheese melt for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat. Garnish with sour cream and chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot.
