For the Crust:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus required ingredients listed on the box)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions and spread evenly in a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 20 minutes, then let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Pour cheesecake batter over the baked brownie layer. Bake for 30-35 minutes until center is set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, warm hot fudge sauce and drizzle over the cheesecake. Top with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and cherries.
- Slice and serve immediately.
